While carbon footprinting is becoming common practice across all industries, at Starboard we wanted to understand our environmental impact in another area as well: our plastic footprint.

Since 2017 we have been calculating our plastic use throughout our products, because only by understanding can we know where we need to improve. You can view our plastic footprint reports below:

In 2019, we used 66.78 tonnes less plastic than in 2017

RECYCLED AND BIO-BASED PLASTICS:

In 2019 the amount of recycled and bio-based plastics used in our products accounted for a 12% of the total

PLASTIC PACKAGING FOR APPAREL:

Since 2017 we ditched all plastic packaging on all apparel products that now only come packed on paper
