The Whale Conmpany

The Whale Company believes in taking action to make change… Carolyn and Carlos became the first in the World to paddle 12 marathons in 12 countries in Europe on a Stand Up Paddle board made of plastic bottles to raise awareness of plastic pollution in the ocean.

They now run Bottle Boards workshops to teach schools and communities to build SUP boards out of plastic bottles. The Whale Company sells T-shirts, Whale-bags and Whale-treads to raise funds to support the Bottle Boards project and it donates 10p per sale to WDC.

The Whale Company works closely with Starboard at our headquarters in Bangkok to show our local environmental advocates how to build plastic bottle SUPs! They have also helped Starboard’s friends at Trash Hero and Lykke build boards around Thailand and educate communities about single use plastic, recycling, and reducing waste.
