It is clear that if you are reading this, that you are an ocean lover too. The Ocean which we rely on for so much, for air, food, energy, our mental health is facing so many hardships. Such as plastic and water pollution, overfishing, increasing temperatures. Above the water, we must do what we can to protect what’s below the surface. Importantly, World Ocean Day For Schools is offering us all the chance to learn how we can fast track sustainable practices whilst allowing us to make more informed decisions. World Ocean Day For Schools, is providing the tool kit for the younger generations to be well equipped with the knowledge to help our planet today!
What is World Oceans Day For Schools?
Across four days from Tuesday 8th of June to Friday 11th June, World Oceans Day for schools will be sharing activities, ocean lessons, live-streamed workshops and creative projects for everyone!
The partners of World Oceans Day for school will be running the sessions. Furthermore, it is time to get excited to see what the Ocean Conservation Trust & National Marine Aquarium, Common Seas, Marine Stewardship Council and the Marine Conservation Society are going to be sharing!

Tuesday 8th June – How Might We Find Ways To Deepen Our Connection To The Ocean?
Wednesday 9th June – How Might We Find Creative Solutions To The Ocean Plastics Problem?
Thursday 10th June – How Might We Protect The Biodiversity Of Our Ocean?
Friday 11th June – How Can We Help More People Experience The Wellbeing Benefits Of Blue Spaces?
