The oceans are in desperate need of our help! World Ocean Day For Schools is returning for another year and with a jam-packed day to help any Ocean Advocate, no matter where you live! All our amazing blue spaces can be protected, we just need you to join in. Last year over 98% said they would join again, don’t miss out!
Whether you are a family, a school group, an outdoor sporting group, or love being outside with friends. We are asking you to connect with your nearest water area, this can be a pond, river, stream, canal, spring, lake or the sea. Importantly, you do not need to live or be near a beach for this. All waterways are connected so we need action from everywhere!
Our Blue Spaces
World Ocean Day For Schools is focusing on the theme of ‘Our Blue’. Aiming to help all students understand and truly feel their connection to their local water source and how it connects to the ocean.
On the Day Activities
Throughout the day are many live sessions, you can even create your own day by choosing lessons and resources to suit your schedule. The event is totally free. Everything is easily accessible, and there is so much to choose from; ocean lessons, live workshops and creative projects! Here is a peak at the day’s agenda, even Starboard Ocean Ambassador Sydney Steenland is hosting a talk – she will have you buzzed to help every Blue Space you could ever imagine.
