Starboard leads the watersports industry with their designs, but with Starboard Blue, they also take a leading approach to environmental impact. For every board made, Starboard plants 3 mangroves and collects 1.4 kg of beach plastic.
The iQFOiL class is dedicated to creating a better world for future generations. With Starboard Blue, the iQFOiL plants 22 mangroves and collects 11.4kg of beach plastic for every full senior setup.
The International Canoe Federation represents all national canoe organizations worldwide, and in 2021, they announced Starboard Blue as their environmental action partners. Together, they direct the events for all ICF disciplines to a more environmentally positive pathway.
The Professional Windsurfers association wanted to reduce the environmental impact of their major events. Working with Starboard Blue, they took action by collecting set amounts of shoreline plastic and planting enough mangroves to make the events 10X climate-positive.

Committed to creating a future of freedom worth living in, Starboard Blue has supported SOMWR to make environmental action an intrinsic part of their product design. For every SOMWR garment, Starboard Blue has planted 1 mangrove and picked up 1.4kg of shoreline plastic.
Head of the Dart is the largest SUP challenge in the UK and with the help of Starboard Blue, they have taken action to measure and offset the emissions from their athlete travel and joined the 10X climate positive movement.
