The iQFOiL class is dedicated to creating a better world for future generations. With Starboard Blue, the iQFOiL plants 22 mangroves and collects 11.4kg of beach plastic for every full senior setup.
International Canoe Federation
The International Canoe Federation represents all national canoe organizations worldwide, and in 2021, they announced Starboard Blue as their environmental action partners.
Together, they direct the events for all ICF disciplines to a more environmentally positive pathway.
Professional Windsurfers Association
The Professional Windsurfers association wanted to reduce the environmental impact of their major events. Working with Starboard Blue, they took action by collecting set amounts of shoreline plastic and planting enough mangroves to make the events 10X climate-positive.
Starboard Receive’s World Sailings Sustainability Award
Starboard is honored to be the recipient of World Sailing’s 11th Hours Racing Sustainability Award; “Starboard (THA), the leading manufacturer of Stand Up Paddle boards and windsurf boards, including the iQFOiL, the Paris 2024 Olympic Men’s and Women’s Windsurfer Equipment, have won the 2020 World Sailing 11th Hour Racing Sustainability Award.”
